A Community Series on Racial Reconciliation
Race is an emotionally charged issue for most Americans whatever their racial/ethnic identity. These facilitated small group workshops provide a safe space to talk about race in America and in our communities. Learn the skills of listening to each other when there are feelings involved, and how to separate feelings from facts. Come to a better understanding of how race shapes American society and how American history and culture shape our individual lives.
LWV members are invited to attend. Sessions are hosted by Grace Lutheran Justice and Advocacy Ministry. Five Sundays, Jan. 13 & 27; Feb. 10; March 10 & 24, 3-5 p.m. Click here to open a flyer with more information. Click here to register online or call 828-693-4890.
