We carry two varieties of Switchgrass, "Blackwell" and "Alamo." Switchgrass can be used for reclamation projects but is also ideal for grazing or wildlife habitat. It is adapted to sandy soils of Texas, and the wet, acid soils of east Texas. Switchgrass will grow in loams and clay loam soils if the water relationship is good.
